Renewable Energy: Options Analysis, Feasibility Assessment, and Project Management

Services:

  1. Options Analysis: Determine the most appropriate type of renewable energy or energy conservation technology for industrial, institutional, agricultural, or commercial applications.
  2. Feasibility Assessment: Determine the feasibility of a particular energy technology in terms of cost, operations and sustainability for industrial, institutional, agricultural, and commercial applications.
  3. Project Management: Design an approach to implement the installation of energy technologies including requesting and analyzing commercial proposals, hiring contractors and overseeing construction/installation.

Manitoba Environmental Industries Association – Winnipeg, Manitoba. Provided grant writing, feasibility analyses, workforce training needs analyses, project management for the Manitoba Energy Advisor training program.

Sioux Valley Dakota Nation – Provided grant writing, planning and project management services for a commercial net-zero renewable energy project

Province of Manitoba: Completed a sources and uses wood waste and recycling study for the Province of Manitoba.

AKI Energy – Winnipeg, Manitoba. Developed proposals and feasibility analyses for rural communities regarding solar heating, solar PV, biomass and electric heating options.

Fuel for the Future – Uganda Refugee Camp. Working with local leaders to develop a renewable energy fuel (biochar) and re-forestation business. Pro bono work.

Building Urban Industries for Local Development – Winnipeg, Manitoba. Developed a solar heating and cooling feasibility analysis for a downtown office/training facility.

Agricultural Utilization Research Institute – Minnesota. Developed a biomass utilization guide for rural businesses
